About the Opportunity

Our client, a leading technology company in the PropTech/FinTech space, is seeking a passionate and proactive Software Engineer to join their growing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively participate in the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and production support.
  • Work within an Agile development process, collaborating closely with the Product team to prepare design artifacts and deliver new features, enhancements, and bug fixes.
  • Engage with internal Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and product owners to clearly understand business requirements and application architecture.
  • Ensure all code adheres to the team's established technical standards and programming guidelines.
  • Assist in estimating the effort and time required for development tasks.
  • Support the team by assisting with the setup of infrastructure and system software for development, testing, and production environments.
  • Take ownership of delegated tasks and ensure their timely completion to meet project deadlines.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Degree or Diploma in Computer Sciences, Software Engineering, or Information Technology.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in technical software development.
  • Technical Stack:

    • Proficiency in React.
    • Strong programming skills in Golang and/or JavaScript.
    • Solid experience with RDBMS (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
  • Soft Skills:

    • A proactive, optimistic, and passionate team player with good initiative.
    • Good verbal and written communication in English.
    • Strong analytical, technical, and troubleshooting skills.
    • A proven ability to cope with tight deadlines and adhere to delivery plans.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have)

  • Experience with AWS cloud services.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD deployment processes.
  • Understanding of design documentation standards (e.g., UML).
