Job Overview

Our client, a leading B2B solutions provider, is seeking a Territory Account Executive / Manager to join their SMB Sales team.

The primary responsibility of this role is to act as a key account manager for a designated territory. You will be responsible for reaching out to and presenting the company's full service solution to businesses, with the goal of establishing the company as a preferred supplier and ensuring customer loyalty.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Account Management: Establish and maintain good rapport with all customers in your portfolio to ensure long-term business relationship/retention.
  • Sales Growth: Actively work to increase the spend per account by driving product penetration and managing the margin of all accounts visited.
  • Customer Service: Handle all assigned customers' enquiries and provide comprehensive after-sales service and support.
  • Internal Collaboration: Work closely with all internal stakeholders (e.g., Customer Service, Credit Control) to ensure full customer satisfaction by providing the company's standard service level.
  • Customer Advocacy: Advocate for customer loyalty through dedicated account management and service excellence.
  • Perform any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Area Sales Manager.
  • Training & Development: Must participate in and complete all learning and training assigned to you.
  • Employee Relationship: Participate in company events and promote a healthy working relationship with colleagues.

Qualifications

  • Education Level: A Diploma or Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Working Experience: A minimum of 2 years of sales experience in a B2B environment, specifically managing an SMB (Small-to-Medium Business) sales portfolio.
  • Specific Skills:

    • High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
    • Demonstrable skills in Solution Selling, Proactive Listening, and Sales Negotiation.
    • Proven experience in Sales Pipeline Management.
  • Language Requirement: Professional fluency in English (verbal and written), with active listening and proactive communication skills.
  • Licenses: A valid driver's license is a plus.
