Job Summary
This position is responsible for supporting and driving the Sales and Distribution operations within an assigned territory, with a primary focus on achieving all KPIs and sales targets.
Key Accountabilities (The Day-to-Day Activities)
- Distributor & Dealer Management:
- Work closely with distributors to manage the dealer portfolio, providing system support for network creation, modification, and termination.
- Drive and coach the Product Specialist / Sales Team to meet designated area targets for both prepaid and postpaid sales, actively monitoring their performance.
- Trade Marketing & Activation:
- Provide trade marketing support for events, signage, and POSM (Point of Sale Materials).
- Plan, lead, and execute effective sales strategies and promotion plans, seeking new opportunities to expand the brand's touchpoints.
- Deepen dealer loyalty through targeted activations and incentive programs.
- Training & Compliance:
- Ensure the sales team is properly trained and has up-to-date knowledge on:
- Systems: Genuine and accurate activations through the control system.
- Products: The full range of company offerings.
- Sales Process: How to sell effectively and provide correct information.
- Incentives: Proper guidance on loyalty programs.
- POSM: Ensuring all materials are current.
- Ensure the sales team is properly trained and has up-to-date knowledge on:
- Market Intelligence & Collaboration:
- Remain vigilant to market movements and competitor activities, gathering market intelligence.
- Proactively manage inter-departmental requirements and communication to meet sales objectives and optimize support resources.
Job Requirements
- Education: Candidates must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in any field.
- Experience:
- A minimum of 6 years of total sales experience in a Telco (Telecommunications) or FMCG related environment.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in sales team management or a leadership capacity.
- Track Record: Must have a sales-driven mindset with a good, verifiable track record of achieving targets.
- Mobility:
- Must possess your own transport and a valid driving license.
- Must be willing to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
