Job Title: DevOps Engineer 

Location: Malaysia (In-person) 

Salary: RM 6,000 – RM 9,000 per month


We are seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for building, automating, and managing their cloud infrastructure, ensuring the high availability, performance, and reliability of their market-leading platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cloud Infrastructure: Collaborate with software developers to design, deploy, and manage scalable and reliable infrastructure on AWS.
  • Automation (CI/CD & IaC):

    • Implement and manage automated CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or CircleCI.
    • Champion and execute Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), with a strong emphasis on Ansible, Terraform, and AWS CloudFormation.
    • Write and maintain Python and Shell scripts to automate daily operational tasks and processes.
  • Monitoring & Support: Monitor system performance, proactively troubleshoot complex issues, and implement effective, long-term solutions to ensure optimal performance and high availability.
  • Database Management: Take ownership of maintaining and deploying SQL Servers, with a specific focus on PostgreSQL and MySQL databases.
  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to design and implement secure, efficient, and reliable cloud-native solutions, continuously enhancing the infrastructure.

Required Qualifications (Must-Haves)

  • Education: Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • AWS Experience: A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure deployment and management, with a strong focus on AWS.
  • IaC Expertise:

    • Deep expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), with mandatory, hands-on experience in Ansible.
    • Strong, practical experience with Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
  • Containerization: Hands-on experience with containerization technologies, particularly Docker.
  • CI/CD Tools: Proven experience with CI/CD concepts and tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI).
  • Scripting: Proficiency in Python and Shell scripting for automation.
  • Database: Experience with the maintenance, deployment, and administration of PostgreSQL and MySQL databases.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have)

  • AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer).
  • Experience with microservices architecture (e.g., Serverless framework, Lambda).
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Zabbix).
