About the Opportunity
Our client is a market-leading PropTech (Property Technology) company in Malaysia, operating the nation's foremost end-to-end property enterprise platform. They are a high-growth firm backed by major FinTech investors, and they are transforming the real estate industry by connecting developers, agents, and financial institutions. They are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Business Development Associate to drive their developer engagement efforts. This position is ideal for an ambitious individual with a strong background in the property or banking sectors and a passion for technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, engage, and secure new high-value clients, with a primary focus on property developers, banks (mortgage/lending), and real estate agencies.
- Develop and nurture strong, long-term relationships with existing customers to drive retention, loyalty, and new upselling opportunities.
- Conduct continuous market research and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities, strategic advantages, and market shifts.
- Present and pitch the company's full suite of SaaS solutions to C-level and senior management clients, clearly showcasing the platform's value proposition and ROI.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (including Product, Marketing, and Customer Success) to ensure business strategies are aligned and client feedback is implemented.
- Track, analyze, and report on sales performance, client feedback, and key market trends to leadership.
- Represent the company at high-profile industry events, exhibitions, and networking sessions to build a strong, visible presence in the PropTech ecosystem.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Real Estate, Finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in B2B sales, strategic account management, or business development.
- Highly Preferred: Direct industry experience and a strong, existing network within the property developer sector or the banking (mortgage/lending) industry.
- A genuine passion for technology, the real estate market, and strategic business development.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Proven presentation, high-stakes negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
- A self-motivated, goal-oriented, and autonomous work ethic.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office is a plus.
