About the Opportunity
Our client is a leading innovator in the financial technology (FinTech) space, developing sophisticated digital products and services. They are seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to join their product team.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect the complete user experience, delivering everything from low-fidelity wireframes and user journeys to pixel-perfect high-fidelity mockups for a range of digital products.
- Envision and present multiple iterative digital experience concepts, effectively articulating your design rationale to product managers, developers, and key stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to define and implement innovative solutions that align with the product's direction, visuals, and user experience goals.
- Take primary ownership of the Design System; you will be responsible for defining, maintaining, and evolving UI guidelines in Figma (or similar tools) to ensure a consistent and high-quality user experience.
- Analyze user behavior, feedback, and data to identify pain points and opportunities for design improvements and optimization.
- Stay current with the latest UI/UX trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, particularly within the FinTech and financial services industries.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in UI/UX design or product design.
- A strong online portfolio is mandatory. It must showcase your design process (e.g., problem definition, wireframes, iteration, final solution) and a track record of creating successful, user-centric designs.
- Expert proficiency in modern design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
- A solid, practical understanding of user-centered design (UCD) principles and methodologies.
- Proven experience with responsive and mobile-first design.
- Excellent visual design skills with a keen, meticulous eye for detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to clearly articulate and defend your design concepts.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have)
- Direct experience in the financial services industry in Hong Kong and a deep understanding of local consumer behavior is a significant plus.
