About the Opportunity

Our client is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead their end-to-end supply chain and logistics functions. The successful candidate will lead a high-performing operations team, be responsible for setting and achieving KPIs, and drive process improvements to ensure maximum efficiency across the business.

Key Responsibilities

1. Order Fulfilment & Logistics Coordination

  • Oversee the end-to-end order fulfillment process, ensuring the timely and accurate processing, dispatch, and delivery of all customer orders.
  • Continuously monitor fulfillment performance, identifying and resolving operational bottlenecks or escalations.
  • Track and drive improvements for key operational KPIs, such as on-time delivery, order accuracy, and customer satisfaction.

2. Inventory Control & Accuracy

  • Manage and optimize all stock levels, implementing systems and controls to minimize stockouts and prevent overstocking.
  • Lead and enforce regular stock audits and adherence to inventory SOPs.
  • Leverage inventory management tools and systems to accurately track stock movements and reconcile any discrepancies.

3. Vendor & Supplier Management

  • Manage all relationships with local and international suppliers to ensure product quality and a timely, consistent supply chain.
  • Lead negotiations for terms, lead times, and pricing to align with budget targets and operational requirements.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and manage strategic sourcing for alternative vendors as needed.

4. Cash Flow & Procurement Planning

  • Develop strategic purchasing schedules that are aligned with forecasted demand and supplier payment timelines.
  • Actively monitor the cash flow impact of all inventory purchases, balancing them against vendor payment terms and working capital constraints.
  • Collaborate closely with the Finance department to optimize all procurement activities.

5. Team & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Provide strong team leadership to the operations staff, setting clear KPIs, and fostering a culture of accountability and development.
  • Serve as the central point of coordination between all related departments, including Sales, Customer Service, Finance, and Warehouse teams.
  • Champion clear communication and effective problem-solving to improve the end-to-end process flow.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Operations, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in operations, logistics, or supply chain, which must include proven team leadership responsibilities.
  • High proficiency in using inventory and order management systems (e.g., SAP, SQL, or equivalent ERP software).
  • Strong analytical and planning skills, with specific experience in procurement, cost control, and forecasting.
  • Demonstrable negotiation skills and effective team management capabilities.
  • A proven ability to manage operational complexity and adapt to a fast-paced, high-change environment.
