About the Opportunity

Our client is seeking a skilled Netsuite Engineer to join their technical team. This role focuses on the development, customization, and integration of the Netsuite ERP platform. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business processes and technical solutions, focusing heavily on API integrations and system configurations.

Key Responsibilities

• System Customization: Lead the configuration and customization of the Netsuite ERP system, including the design and management of complex workflows.
• API Development & Integration: Design, develop, and maintain robust integrations using Webservices. This includes developing and consuming Web APIs, Webhooks, and REST APIs to ensure seamless data flow between systems.
• Technical Solutions: Analyze business requirements to implement effective technical solutions within the Netsuite environment.
• Collaboration: Work effectively with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical specifications and resolve system issues.
• Data & Reporting: Support data analysis and reporting initiatives (utilizing SQL and BI concepts where applicable).

Mandatory Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
• Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience as a programmer or software developer.
• Netsuite Expertise: Strong, hands-on knowledge of Netsuite ERP, with a specific focus on workflows, system configurations, and deep customization.
• Integration Skills: High proficiency in Webservices. You must have the ability to develop and consume Web APIs, Webhooks, and REST APIs.
• Soft Skills:
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across different teams.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have)

• Familiarity with basic Business Intelligence (BI) concepts.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Prior professional experience working within the accounting industry.
